A last minute trip to Paris and the Côte d'Azur in December of 2021 to visit our friend Katherine while she resided in Cannes. The early fears of Omicron and Delta variants meant that restrictions were getting more and more stringent and once we arrived, our anxiety was met by a surprisingly relaxed french population. Navigating the country without contracting the virus all while trying to enjoy ourselves was truly a "look but don't touch" experience.
